The first joint venture between Naturalist Journeys and Sunrise Birding was a resounding success with more than 165 bird species seen including Colima Warbler, Black-capped Vireo, Common Black-Hawk, Elf Owl, Montezume Quail, and Least Grebe. Mammals seen included Black-tailed Prairie Dog, Gray Fox, Javelina, Sierra del Carmen White-tailed Deer, and Pronghorn. Reptiles included Prairie Rattlesnake, Bull Snake, and Southwestern Earless Lizard. The landscape was breathtaking!
