MADAGASCAR!
November 15 - December 5, 2026
With Bird’s Wildlife & Nature LTD of Plymouth, England
Often referred to as the 8th continent, Madagascar broke away from Africa more than 95 million years ago, which then created this oasis of endemic wildlife found no where else on earth. With over 120 endemic birds and an ever growing list of endemic mammals and reptiles, Madagascar has become one of the biggest attractions in international birding and a place that all naturalists want to visit at least once in their life.
This fantastic 3 week itinerary offers the best possibility at seeing a large number of the endemic birds like the Scaly Ground Roller, Blue Vanga and the critically endangered Bernier’s Teal.
During our stay we will also search for some of the incredible mammals and most sought after are the Lemurs. Madagascar has always been famed worldwide for its population of these unique mammals and during our 3 week stay we hope to see a number of these ranging from the large Indri to the smaller nocturnal Lemurs, the incredibly rare Golden Bamboo lemur, and the famous Ring-tailed Lemur.
