Photo Gallery: ECUADOR
November/December 2006

Tour Highlights:
This was a fantastic tour thanks to the expert skills of local guide Juan Carlos Calvachi. The hummingbirds and tanagers were bright and beautiful, the scenery spectacular and the real surprise and treat of the trip were the Antpittas.  Seven species were recorded including a Moustached Antpitta on a nest, the famous Yellow-breasted Antpitta named Willy, another famous Giant Antpitta named Maria, Chestnut-crowned, Rufous, and Tawny Antpitta.  Incredible!

Total species recorded: 412
Hummingbirds: 52       Tanagers: 64       Antpittas: 7
